CubePlot comes in three editions. In every edition, the data you load never leaves your computer.

Edition	Who may use it	What you can do
Free	Anyone, free of charge — personal, corporate and commercial use alike	3D view (X/Y/Z axes) and PNG image export, usable indefinitely. A watermark is shown on screen at all times, and exported PNGs carry a watermark plus a QR code. Color-by / size-by encoding and video (MP4) export are not available
Student	Students, for their own academic work (theses, conference talks, coursework). Provided free of charge on application from an academic email address	All features (including color-by / size-by encoding and video export). No watermark or QR code
Corporate License	Within the purchasing organization, up to 5 people per license (see below)	All features (including color-by / size-by encoding and video export). No watermark or QR code

Exported images, videos and CSVs are your work products. Use them anywhere — internal documents, proposals, papers, presentation slides, social media — including commercially. No credit required
The Free edition may be used by anyone, for evaluation or for work, with no time limit. You may also pass the Free edition's HTML file to colleagues within your organization. Please also feel free to share the product page link with them
One Corporate License covers up to 5 people within the same organization who operate the app to create plots or videos. The number of computers does not matter, and people who merely view the exported images or videos do not count
For 6 or more users, please purchase licenses to match (e.g. 12 users → 3 licenses). For department-wide or company-wide use, volume quotes, or invoice-based payment, feel free to contact us by email
The Student edition is free for academic use while enrolled. If you find yourself using CubePlot at work after graduating, we would be delighted if you considered a Corporate License then

Please do not pass the Student or Corporate License files to anyone outside your organization (or other than yourself), or redistribute or resell them
Please do not remove or alter the watermark, QR code, or brand marks in the Free edition
CubePlot deliberately contains no copy protection — that is what keeps it a single, verifiable file that sends nothing over the network. These terms rely on your good faith, and we thank you for honoring them

A one-line email about what you used CubePlot for — it genuinely fuels development
Sharing plots made with the Free edition as-is on social media or in documents (the watermark and QR code are a quiet form of support)
Mentioning CubePlot at your workplace or lab when someone nearby is struggling to make a 3D scatter plot in Excel

This software is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose
The accuracy of rendered charts and computed values is not guaranteed. Always verify against your source data before important decisions
The publisher accepts no liability for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this software (except where such exclusion is not permitted by applicable law)
Loaded data is processed only inside your browser and is never transmitted externally (network access is blocked at the browser level). Safekeeping of your data files remains your responsibility

Support is provided by email on a best-effort basis, with no guaranteed response time
Updates are delivered by re-downloading from your purchase platform (for Corporate Licenses) or from the product page (for the Free edition)
These terms may be revised. Licenses already purchased remain governed by the terms in effect at the time of purchase
This software includes open-source software (Plotly.js and qrcode-generator, both MIT licensed). See the bundled THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES for details

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan
Any dispute arising in connection with this software shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court in the first instance
